O Christmas Tree how lovely are NOT thy branches.
(Sigh) Last year we just adored our live German Christmas tree! It stayed alive well after Christmas! We were so excited to get another one this year. So when the first week of December came, we went to the same place we baught our tree last year. Oh, it was beautiful. We got all the lights on and ornaments on and it smelled so nice! We made sure it had plenty of water, you know all the things you're supposed to do. Sadly about 2 weeks before Christmas we noticed that the tree looked sad. It had plenty of water, but was not drinking it. Then a week before Christmas the tree was soooo sad that if we kept turning the lights on it was probably going to catch fire. We were sooo disapointed, but kept it up to have in the background of our Christmas morning pictures. Poor Christmas Tree. :0(

Christmas 2009
We decided that this year would be all about the boys. In a way it was about us too. We got just as excited to see them open their presents as they did opening them. AND then we got to play with their toys as we put them together and showed them how they worked. All in all today has been a very happy Christmas day. (We'll see how dinner goes. wink wink ;0) )

Daddy was teaching Jayce a new way to open his presents. I believe at one point he swallowed some of the paper. (Thanks Daddy)

Happy Halloween!
This pumpkin is the result of teamwork! I drew the face on and Jaysen cut it out. How COOL did it turn out!!!!
This was taken after we went trick-or-treating at a few of our neighbor's houses. It was chilly that day. These costumes were perfect for the weather.
